She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lloyd Coulter, Sr. and Letha Rosezella Malone Coulter; her former husband Clarence Vance Freeman; her husband Rev. Robert A. Simpson; her son Jerry Lee Freeman; her granddaughter Aletha Marie Freeman; and her siblings, Lloyd Coulter, Jr., Wilford Coulter, Nathan Coulter, Rev. Harold Joe Coulter, Demarise Freeman and Sylvia Fry.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry "Red" (Sherry Freeman) of Prattsville, Narvell "Bean" (Latrisia Freeman) of Prattsville and Tommy "Stormy" (Donna Freeman) of Sheridan; her brothers, Gayle Coulter of Duncanville and Rev. Glen Coulter (Dutchie) of Palo Alto, CA; and her caregiver Brittany Hensley. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren: 3 great great grandchildren.
