He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred McCollum and Willie Fay McCollum; and his siblings, Arlandist McCollum, Gladys Paige, Lela Prichett and Earnestine Cooper.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie Joe McCollum (Sadie) of Prattsville, AR, Willie Carrol McCollum of Hot Springs, AR and Donald Fredrick McCollum (Rhonda) of Little Rock, AR; and his brother Dr. J. N. McCollum. He is also survived by grandchildren; eleven (11) great-grandchildren.
