He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Hale and Florence Hale; his siblings, Buford Jr., Willie Earvin, Ruben, Archie, Junior Lee, Violet, Maxine and Cleo Hale; and his sons, Ronald and Courtney Hale.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Hale (Patsy) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Donna Hale of Douglasville, Georgia; his sister Verda Anderson (Clyde) of St. Louis, Missouri; and his close friend Jerry Mitchell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
