He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hendrix and Ohal Holder Hendrix; his wife Dorothy Mae Kirkham; his daughter Ohal Jeneice Applegate (Ge-Ge); his grandchildren, Braith and Jennifer; and his brothers, Kenneth, Ruel and Gary.
He is survived by: his caregiver Teresa Smith (Dean); his son Jerry Hendrix Jr. (Jing); and his brother Junior Hendrix (Kay). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, niece, nephews, cousins, and other extended family along with lots of friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home - Prescott (201 W 2nd St N, Prescott, AR 71857). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Piney Grove Cemetery.
