He is survived by: his wife Lisa Butler; his children, Dwight Slay, Chavona Williams, Grantnisha Williams and Latierra Curry; his siblings, Robert Williamson (Jan), Wanda Perkins (Lonnie), Marcia Makanjuola, Bobbie Springer (Tony), Georgie Blalock, Loretta Anderson (Gary) and Dora Gude; his grandchildren, Shamari Slay, Khamiise Johnson, Princess Slay, Jayniah Cunningham, Zion Slay, Jayceon Cunningham, Jayneon Cunningham, Kevion Curry, Amiyah H. Slay, James Cunningham IV, Semaj Cunningham, Silas Reynolds and Tonya Reynolds; his children-in-law, James Cunningham and Veronica Slay; and his in-laws, Patricia Hick (Daniel) and Serena Daniel (Kelvin).
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home (1196 US-371, Prescott, AR 71857). A burial was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at the Washington Hill Cemetery (395 NV-220, Prescott, AR 71857).
