He is survived by: his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Victoria Wainright of Belton, Missouri; his stepson Anthony Thornton; his stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Thornton, Miriah Thornton and Matthew Thornton; his siblings, William Wainright, Dorothy Richley and Shirley Wilson; Gus.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Roller-Christeson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Crawford Cemetery.
