She was predeceased by : her parents, Guy Simmons and Rose Simmons; her husband Jerrel Brown; and her siblings, Kathleen Norman, Arvil Simmons and James Simmons.

She is survived by : her children, Judy Holliman (Altis) of Quitman and Richard Brown (Vickie) of Quitman, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Deeadra Johnson, Jeremy Holliman, Sean Brown and Cody Brown; and her great grandchildren, Sydney Pletcher, Marley Johnson, Bradey Johnson and Leah Brown. She is also survived by many extended family members and wonderful friends.
