He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Mason and Mary Davis Mason; his wife Pricilla Jones Mason; and his sons, Steve Mason, Frank McCormick, Evertte Ray McCormick and Tommy McCormick.

He is survived by : his children, Wanda Helmert of Alma, Vonda Galindo of Altus, Arkansas and John McCormick of Ozark; and his granddaughters, Amanda Parsons (Del) of Ratcliff and Shawna Grigsby (Lucas) of Altus. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; and 53 great grandchildren.
