He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hovis and Phena Hovis; and his brothers, Ronnie, Leslie, David and Doyle Hovis.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Sue Hovis; his children, Janice Kay Bell, Sherry Henson (Clarence), Tracy Andrade (Scott), Michelle Hovis (Jill) and Billy Hovis; his grandchildren, Brittney Leggett, Zach Bell, Dakota Bell, Emry Bell, Kandice Henson, Corey Henson, Kristin Kelly, Cody Andrade, Cheyene Andrade, Jaxon, Duke and Eleanor Hovis; and his siblings, Loretta Dismang, Sharon Murphy, Patricia Bryd, Janice Edington, Stephanie Jones, Cheryl McCoy, Meryl Whitlidge, Roger Hovis, Randy Hovis and Richard Hovis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McNabb Funeral Home (2129 N Park St, Pocahontas, AR 72455). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Nelson Cemetery.
In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Nelson Johnston Cemetery PO Box 18, Reyno Arkansas in honor of Patrick.
