She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin G. Reed and Lettie Baker of Woodlawn; her husband James H. "Jim" White; and her siblings, Lavere Glover, Shirley Crain, Dorothy Collard and Charles Wilber Reed.

She is survived by : her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Andrew Caldwell and Jett Monk.

Memorials may be made to Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund or the Ladies Auxiliary.
