He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Maddox Attwood and Edward Leali Attwood; and his brother Don Thurman. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Shelby; his sons, Jim Attwood (Renita) and Craig Attwood; his grandchildren, Jared Attwood (Jana), Tanner Attwood (Sarah) and Abby Attwood Joyner (Jackson); his great grandchildren, Hadleigh, Jed, Hazel Ann, Emma Claire and Elliott; and his sister Jean Attwood Phillips.
