We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2022, at the age of 91, James Phelps of Rison, Arkansas, born in Rowell, Arkansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Phelps to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his father James Phelps Sr.; and his siblings, Jerry Donald Phelps, Ralph Phelps, Jon Phelps and Jo Ann Brown.

He is survived by : his wife Stella Glover Phelps; his daughters, Cindy James (Scott), Leslie Phelps and Lisa Stewart; his grandchildren, Clint James, Brett James (Anna), Anna Catherine Williams, Mary Elizabeth Williams, Reid Stewart and Mackenzie Stewart; and his brother Harry Phelps.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Samaritan's Purse or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
