He was predeceased by : his father Robert Cochran; his son Jonathan Cochran; and his brothers, Steve Cochran and Carmen Cochran. He is survived by : his mother Carol Smith Light of White Hall; his wife Deborah Cochran of Rison; his children, Amber Johnson, Michelle Ann Myrick, Silvia Fernando, Nathan Whitlock and Preston Whitlock; his brother C. J. "Guy" Light; and his stepdaughter Jessica "Jaylin" McDaniel.
