Mieko June Hamman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mieko June Hamman (Rison, Arkansas), who passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Imajiro Hamamoto and Yukiyo Hamamoto; her husband Paul Hamman; her siblings, Tokumasa Hamamoto, Tersumasa Hamamoto, Kiyoshi Hamamoto, Setsuko Fukishige and Mitsuko Hamamoto; and her former life partner Jimmie Bailey.

She is survived by : her daughter Cathy Blocker of Pine Bluff; her grandchildren, Ashley Naylor (Chris) of Woodlawn and Allan Blocker of Pine Bluff; her great grandchildren, Logan Naylor and Coby Naylor of Woodlawn; and her siblings, Kesao Hamamoto of Japan and Umeko Tagawa of Japan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
