It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Mercer of Rison, Arkansas, who passed away on August 13, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Mercer and Alma Gavin Mercer; his daughter Glenda Sue Mercer; and his siblings, Joe Mercer, Earl Kelly and Robbie Ashcraft.
He is survived by : his wife Brenda Taylor Mercer; his children, Ricky Mercer (Cindy) of Yukon, OK, Mark Mercer of Rye, AR and Donna Milner (Mack) of Watson Chapel, AR; his sisters, Sadie Wingard of Hot Springs, AR and Pat Ashcraft of Rye, AR; his sister-in-law Mary Mercer of Rye, AR.; his grandchildren, Farron Mercer (Drew), Brooks Mercer (Miranda), Samantha Milner, Nicholas Mercer, Tyler Henslee, Reece Mercer and Jesse Milner; and his great grandchildren, Talan Mercer, Harper Mercer, Nash Mercer and Theo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
