He was predeceased by: his friend Rison; his parents, Adolphus Wade and Edna Louise Bevis Edwards; his wife Ellaquay Waits Edwards; and his sons, Robert Edwards, Kyogee Edwards and Nikki Edwards.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Murtishaw, Karen Hupe, Terri Raffield and Edna Dee Grenville; and his stepsons, Terry Jackson, Leland "Skippy" Terry, Kenny May, Ricky May and Chris May. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
