He is survived by: his children, Janet Brooks of Rivervale and Nathan Brooks of West Ridge; his grandchildren, Ariana "Nanner" Hudson of Mammoth Springs, Rhiannon Green of Marie and Zakary Brooks of West Ridge; his great grandchild Patrick Hammond of Marie; his brother Dennis Brooks, Sr. of Strawberry; and also Shirley Spencer Brooks of Lepanto. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, his church family and his guitar picking friends.
