Youvone Ramsey Obituary

Youvone Ramsey, 90, of Rivervale, Arkansas passed away on June 20, 2024 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on November 17, 1933 in Fanshawe, Oklahoma. She was married to Vester Ramsey on June 23, 1951 in Caraway, Arkansas. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Lepanto, Arkansas. She enjoyed knitting, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include; her children; Rick Ramsey (Kay) of Odessa, Texas, Laverne Pendergrass (Donnie) of Monette, Arkansas, Barbara Pendergrass (Horace) of Rivervale, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; one brother: Bobby Wisham of Ravenden, Arkansas; one sister: Nancy Pettit (James) of Caraway, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by; her husband: Vester Ramsey; parents: Foy and Ethel Wisham; one daughter: Janet Honnoll; two sisters: Wanda Hendrix and Linda Matthews; and two brothers: Lonnie Wisham and Harold Wisham.

Pallbearers: Dilynn Strickland, Jamie Strickland, Peyton Milligan, Slade Sitz, and Matthew Honnoll.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Pentecostal Church in Lepanto, Arkansas with Pastor Jonathan Neely and Pastor Tony McCall officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Caraway Cemetery in Caraway, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
