She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellwood F. Oakley and Margaret Turner; and her brother Ellwood "Ebb" Oakley. She is survived by: her husband Joel Lowery Megginson, Sr.; her sister Jackie Harrison (Ben); her sister-in-law Lois Oakley; her niece Robyn Megginson Aronowitz (Eric); her nephew Joel Lowery Megginson, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Nathanael Aronowitz (Emily), Christina Aronowitz, Samuel Megginson and Matthew Megginson. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
