She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Bell and Lorene Bell; her husband George Hardbarger; and her daughters, Linda Hughes and Shirley Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Schroeder, Johnny (Pam Hardbarger), Earnie (Nondi Hardbarger), Shaunna (Terrence Spencer) and Betty Jo Brewer; her grandson Jeremy Hardbarger; her children, J. C., Brittany Hardbarger, Matthew, Tiffany Schroeder, Devin Verser, Mason and Kaden Spencer; her great grandchild Addison Coberley; her grandchildren, Jaylynn, Layken Hardbarger, Aiden Shuptrine, Zayden Schroeder and Xolani Spencer; and her siblings, A. C. Bell and Coleen Foster. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Circle of Life Hospice, or that loved one's honor Betty's memory by showing kindness to others, just as she always did.
