He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Abshier and Irene Loftin Abshier; and his wife Barbra. He is survived by: his children, Steve Abshier (Tammy) of Rogers, Lance Abshier of Columbia and Sherri Abshier-Pullen of Fayetteville. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
