He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Hunley Cearley and Ward Cearley; and his brothers, Wayne, Duane, Howard Cearley and Raymond Wilson.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Barehead; his brother Phillip Cearley (Francis) of Grove, Oklahoma; his children, Kim Fernandez (Bill) of Gravette, Robert Cearley (Kate) of Grove and Alicia Jory (Waylon) of Jay, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Savanah Bennett, Dylan Fernandez (Grace), Devon Fernandez (Hannah), Daltyn Jory, James Stonebarger, Kathryn Jory and Graham Cearley; and his great grandchildren, Jayden Bennett and Jordan Bennett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
