He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde "Dick" Ellis and Mary Parsons Ellis; and his daughter Cheryl. He is survived by: his son Calvin Jesse Ellis; and his siblings, Fred Ellis, Elaine Sanders Patricia Ellis and Vicki Haddock. He is also survived by five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
