She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Salazar-Slazer and Elizabeth Christopher Salazar-Slazer; her husband Harley Gordon Shannon; her children, Darwin Lee Shannon, Gary Lodel Shannon and Billie Jo Ericks; and her siblings, Marie Roberts, Phyllis Madden, Alan Slazer and George Slazer.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Ann Rodgers; her sister Vanora Morris; and her grandchildren, Tamara Ericks, Kevin Ericks, Phillips Craig Rodgers and Scotty Dale Rodgers. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and nineteen great great grandchildren.
