He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernhard Anderson and Jean Reed Anderson; his sons, Josh and Bryan Anderson; and his brothers, Bernhard Jr., Wiley and Jean Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Michele; his children, Jonathan David Anderson (Sarah Anderson) of Georgia, Michael Dane Anderson (Liz Anderson) of Rogers and Melissa Ticer (Steven Ticer) of East Texas; and his siblings, Nora Anderson and Lawrence Anderson.
