He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Edward and Celia Ann Gibson Engle. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; and his children, David Wayne (Bob Walker-Engle), Todd (Carrie), Marque Babyar (Aron), Jonathan (Adrienne) and Natalie Tibbs (Kevin). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and their partners and 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Children & Family Advocacy Center (formally Restoration Village and the Children's Advocacy Center.).
