He is survived by: his wife Helen Ruth Parker Houchin; his son Jeremy Lynn Houchin; his brother Zelner Houchin, Jr.; his grandchildren, Braley Nichols, Madison Houchin and Drew Houchin; and his great grandchild Beau Nichols.
