She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Garcia Alvarez and Maria Refugio Guerrero Sanchez; and her stepson Jeremy Marshall Ellington. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Jerry Ellington; and her children, Marco Alvarez, Milenia Perea, Ivan Alvarez, Alan Alvarez, Jessica and Jordan Ellington. She is also survived by two brothers and four sisters, eleven grandchildren.
