He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Sparkman and Gertie Sparkman (Herndon); his brothers, Denzel, Robert and James; and his son Lance.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Sarah (Roger Eubanks) of Fayetteville; his stepgrandchildren, Gena Choate and Clint Choate (Ashley); Tyler Ozug and Cooper Choate.
