He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Vandever and Edna Vandever (Guyer); his siblings, Nadine Blakly, Max Vandever and Sharon Vandever; his daughter Jerri Garrett; and his grandson Christopher Fuller.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Vandever; his daughter Robbin Vandever (Jerri); his grandchildren, Sam West, Emily West, Vaughn, Katie Garrett, Stephen Saturniewicz (Kayce) and Meagan Saturniewicz; his great grandchildren, Tate and Olivia; and his sister-in-law Maxine Vandever. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
