She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Edsel Whitaker; her children, Wade (Connie Whitaker), Dale (Michelle Whitaker), Roberta (Bob Wright) and Denise (Carl Pearson); her brothers, Leon McBryde of Berryville, Ronnie (Carol McBryde), George (Lori McBryde) and Roy (Donna McBryde); her parents, Lee McBryde and Bernice McBryde; her brothers, Bill (Ruth McBryde) and Edward McBryde; and her sister-in-law MaryAnn McBryde. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren.
