While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Pete" Hixon and Jane Hixon (Lovett); and his brother Peter Hixon. He is survived by: his children, Tamra and James Jr. Jimmy; his wife Lisa Hixon of Rogers, Arkansas; his brother Patrick "Pat" Hixon of Las Vegas, Nevada; his great grandchild Harper Buech; his niece Angela "Angie" Sidebotham; and his nephew Peter Hixon.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Rogers Fire Department or the Broyles Foundation (Supporting Alzheimer's Caregivers), in honor of Jimmy's legacy of service and kindness.
