He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Wayne Thurman and Ellen Joyce Byers; and his brother Michael Wayne Thurman. He is survived by: his wife Kami Thurman of Rogers, AR; his stepfather Glenn Walker of Ada, OK; his daughter Jessica Grady (Chris) of Pea Ridge, AR; his siblings, Jason Thurman (Erica) of Edmond, OK, Kim Flores, Sonia Johnson and Shannon White; and his grandchildren, Nathaniel Ferguson (Sara), Katelyn Ferguson and Lindsey Ferguson.
