He is survived by: his wife Martha Slaughter; his children, Tina Slaughter, Scott Slaughter (Carla) and Michael Slaughter; and his siblings, Stevie Slaughter, Clyde Slaughter (Carolyn), Monroe Slaughter and Carolyn Faye Slaughter. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
