He was predeceased by: his parents, Delton Stratton and Celia Stratton; and his brothers, Perry and Red. He is survived by: his wife Janine Alexander Stratton; his sister Cora Thorton; his daughters, Kellie Coleman (James), Barrett Bonds (David), Tay Stratton (Tom Dwyer), Tasha Dugan (Don) and Saige Stocker (Jon); and his stepdaughter Penny Ezell (Chris). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
