He is survived by : his children, Matthew Alaniz (Barbara), Kimberly Alaniz Jones (Adam) and Deanna Miranda; his siblings, Stella Farrar, Fred Alaniz and Eddie Alaniz; and his grandchildren, Addison Miranda, Brennan Miranda, Ava Miranda, Shelby Alaniz, Mattie Alaniz, Chandler Alaniz, Aaron Smith and Callie Smith. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
