She was predeceased by: her parents, James Virgil and Lassie Leota Fields Fielding; her husband Robert "Bob" Whitley; her son Mark Whitley; and her siblings, Carroll, Minter, Millard Fielding, Dena Tipton and Virginia Colville.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Whitley, Susan Whitley and Robert Whitley (Sheila); her sister Wilma Obenshain; her sisters-in-law, Erma Fielding and Sharon Williams; her grandchildren, Jason Dickard (Sarah), Michelle Slate (Lenard) and Megan Blevins (Jared); and her great grandchildren, Truman Dickard, Alice Slate, Emily Slate and Austen Blevins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
