He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Virgil Brewer and Nova Vivian Cooper; his siblings, Geraldine Lovell (Jerry), Earline Graham, Sue Holman, Lue Herron, Bud Brewer and Jo Brewer; his children, Billy Guy Garris, Dewey Lee Garris and Jannie Francis Riley; his grandson Jake Garris; and his great grandchild Shane Douglas Roberts.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Garris; and his grandchildren, Wesley Johnson, Clarence Tolley, Michael Garris, Tracey Hastie, Delane Paschal, Cassandra Kelly and Jacqueline Jean Schnedler (JJ). He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
