She was predeceased by: her parents, Wardlow Gilmer and Reba Gilmer (Glenn); her brother Wilson Gilmer; her granddaughter Jennifer Harris; and her great grandchild Noah O'Neal.

She is survived by: her husband Keith Knox; her children, Roberta Fulfer (Larry) of Rogers, Connie Drymon (Sherman) of Rogers, H. K. Knox (Dianne) of Rogers and Mike Knox (Dianne Powell) of Avoca; her siblings, Howard Gilmer (Wanda) of Rogers and Nina Roberts of Clifty; her sister-in-law Myra Gilmer of Rogers; and her siblings, John Gilmer (Dee) of Fayetteville and Rita Duncan (Ralph) of Huntsville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
