She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy James Rigsbee and Cora Bell Jones; her husband Arthur Grubbs; and her siblings, Doyal Rigsbee, Joann, Claramae and Gladys.

She is survived by: her children, Steaven, Jamey, Diana, Janette, Carla, Michael and Mary; and her brothers, Eddie and Tommy Rigsbee. She is also survived by thirty-one grandchildren, and forty-five great grandchildren.
