She was predeceased by : her parents, Juan Batres Labrador and Francisca Caceres; her husband Martin Palma Sr.; and her sons, Francisco Palma Batres and Virgilio Palma Batres.

She is survived by : her children, Hugo Palma Batres, Martin Palma Batres, Jr., Luis Alberto Palma, Angela Argueta, Dora Elisa Palma Batres and Zahara Wardwell. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.
