He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Smith and Georgia Smith; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Shirley Smith; his grandson Tylor Moore; and his great grandchild Luther Lee Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Braden, Christina Ash, Holly, James Hensley (Hayden), Amber, Chad Cook (Macee), Dakota and Mary Smith; and his sister Brenda Honeycutt (Joe). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews.
