He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lawrence Metzger and Helen Briggs Metzger; and his brother James Metzger, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Wright Metzger; his children, Eric Wright Metzger and Tracey Metzger Gibson (Robert); his grandchildren, Jared Metzger (Lheanne), Maria Suzanne Metzger, Zachary Gibson (Jenn) and Nicholas Gibson; his great grandchildren, Jia Metzger, Hank Allen Terwelp, Anna Gibson and Layne Gibson; and his sister Bernice Metzger Moroz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial donations to the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA (spsfnwa.org), the Arkansas ALS Association (als.org/arkansas), or your local food pantry, in honor of Peter's lifelong dedication to helping others.
