It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Marie Burt of Rogers, Arkansas, born in Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Houston and Mary Houston; her husband Keith D. Burt; her son Steven G. Burt; and her siblings, Loine Boche and Herbert Houston.

She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Burt Koonce (Michael) of New Bern; and her grandchildren, Braden and Delaney Walker.
