He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Kumpe and Berenice Kumpe; and his son Nicholas (Stacey). He is survived by: his wife Wendy Kumpe; his siblings, Peter Kumpe (Trudy) and Priscilla; his sons, Ronald (Carmen) and Chadwick "Chaddie" (Charlie Platt); his stepchildren, Michael Scott (Christy) and Michelle Cummings (Chris); his grandchildren, Matthew, Tristan, Veronica, Sara Belle, Preston, Chance and Miller; and his great grandchildren, Ezra and Luella Jade.
He served as Board Member and President in more than one club, received the Service Above Self Award and the 4 Avenues of Service Citation, and became a Paul Harris Fellow Major Donor and Benefactor to The Rotary Foundation.
