He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Coulter and Marie Coulter (King); and his sister Phyllis Sewell. He is survived by: his wife Carol Lynn Toole; his children, Kimberly Windham (Randy) of Lusaka Zambia and Curt Coulter (Daline) of Springdale; and his grandson Brian Coulter (Kristen) of Austin, Texas.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
