It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shary Kay James of Rogers, Arkansas, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Swan and Birdie Swan; her siblings, Jerry Swan and Lynda Cone; and her nephew Jeremy Swan.
She is survived by: her husband Rodney James; her brother Terry Swan (Melanie); her son Michael James (Julia); her grandsons, Austin and Cole; her son Rusty James (Ronda); and her grandchildren, Gunnar, Scout and Sutton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Susan G. Komen or Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, whose care and compassion brought comfort during her final days.
