He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carter and Ada Smith Carter; and his daughter Virginia Ann Crihfield. He is survived by: his wife Doris Carter; and his children, Peggy Young (Gary) of Rogers, David Carter (Becky) of Lowell and Troy Carter of Lowell. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
