She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Weddington and Parelee Weddington; her husband Junior Welch; her son Reggie Welch; her sister June; and her close friend Eddie Buell.

She is survived by: her nieces, Sharon and Glenda. She is also survived by many cousins and great nieces and nephews.
