It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edmond Shewmake of Roland, Arkansas, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Shewmake and Ruby Shewmake; his brother Elmer Lee Shewmake; and his sister-in-law Freda Rippeto. He is survived by: his children, Joey Shewmake (Debra) of Texas and Amanda Upton of Texas; his siblings, Mary Forrester (Thurman) of Roland, Arkansas, Katie Hoyle of Roland, Arkansas and James Shewmake (Carolyn) of Roland, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Trey, Gavin, Erica, Antonio and Keegan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (13801 Chenal Pkwy, Little Rock, AR 72211). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel (13801 Chenal Pkwy, Little Rock, AR 72211).
